Angela Eiter is one of the most popular and richest Rock Climber who was born on January 27, 1986 in Arzl im Pitztal, Austria. As of the month September 8, at the 3rd round at the World Cup in Bern, she suffered a serious injury which injured her left shoulder after which she underwent an arthroscopic surgery. She was forced to stop her competition early in the season and undergo nine months of rehabilitation. She began competing next July in the Climbing World Championship 2009 in Qinghai.
On October 22, 2017 she climbed La Planta de Shiva (Villanueva del Rosario, Spain), widely considered to be a 9b (5.15b) route, becoming the world’s first female to climb that grade.

In recognition of this exceptional performance, the team was given an award called the La Sportiva Competition Award in 2006.
She also was the winner of four world championships held with her lead-climbing specialization including the 2005 championship in Munich The 2007 version in Aviles and Arco, the edition of 2011 in Arco as well as the one in 2012, Paris.
On September 6, 2014, Eiter climbed the 9a (5.14d) route Hades at Nassereith, Austria. She is the sixth woman to climb this grade or higher.
