James J. Cramer (born February 10, 1955) is an American television personality, and host of Mad Money on CNBC. He is a former hedge fund manager as well as a best-selling author and a co-founder of TheStreet.com.
Among his first jobs, starting sometime in 1971, Cramer sold Coca-Cola and then ice cream at Veterans Stadium during Philadelphia Phillies games.
He was married to Karen Backfisch Olufsen in 1988, but divorced in 2009.

He assisted Dershowitz’s campaign to acquit alleged murderer Claus von Bülow despite the fact that Cramer believed von Bülow was “supremely guilty.”
