In February of 2011, Levin finished tied for first place at the Mayakoba Golf Classic at Riviera Maya-Cancun , along with the fellow American Johnson Wagner; however Levin was unable to win at the start of the playoff hole where he was able to make an eagle and Wagner was able to par the 18th hole, which is a par four.
The year 2010 was his top result was a third place finish in the Children’s Miracle Network Classic in November.

Levin is a native of Sacramento, California, the son of Carlene (Rossi) and Don Levin. His mother is the sister of the football Official Mike Pereira. Levin was a student at in the University of California, Los Angeles before moving into New Mexico. University of New Mexico, where the two-time All-American. When at New Mexico, Levin played alongside future PGA Tour professionals Michael Letzig and Wil Collins. He placed T-13 in the U.S. Open and was the lowest amateur. His highest finish in 2008 was a T-7 in the U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee. He placed T-23 in Q-School in December, and was able to keep his 2010 card.
